 I walk into the office building and everyone started to smirk and laugh I was wondering "why?" then I looked at myself in the mirror like windows and I was dressed like a clown!  I didn’t remember putting it on but I was wearing these clothes. Then I ran out of the building and into my car. My beautiful Mercedes X had been replaced by a stupid as smart car. I decided to roll with it, I started the car and the engine roared to life. I vroomed down the highway. I will sadly never recover from this disaster. Oof.

They should never said yes. The guests thought they were entering a floating haven, Unknown to them this was a real-life hell-hole after they had dinner in the nice restaurant they went to a set bed which had clean clothes set for them, especially for them, it would be there last ever sight, the bed shelf with the built-in light as they closed their eyes and went to sleep, a chef came in decapitated them, and dragged their body to the kitchen and made into a meal for more oblivious and greedy guests.

The poor Farmer couldn't move his upper body. he was immobilized in hay, his fresh fruit scattered everywhere the road next to him was yellow because the fruit was smeared by cars. Although he didn't know this he predicted it would happen. He roared angrily and tried to pull himself out but he was bound to the Bale he then tried wiggle, then heave, Pull, twist, yet to no avail. Suddenly a truck carrying wet cement crashed into the hay bale and cover the farmer and the hay bale in quick-drying concrete. Now the farmer is now a official landmark.

 He was trapped suddenly, gradually, things started to move closing in on him. He was scared that he would die or be confined to a small space and die of starvation. The walls circled around him spinning like Ballerinas in dance it reminded him on his home far away and his children which he would never see again. He closed his eyes he felt a warm breeze life him off his feet and high into the sky above. He was ascending slowing, like a slow hover he rose above the enclosing circle he was going higher he was a freeman.

then the crowd erupted with laughter… I had just tried to do the hardest stunt in existence the Indian Air Seat Grab Back Flip and failed horribly luckily there was a safety net, I was embarrassed but I realised that they weren't laughing at me but my motorcycle which been spinning so fast that it was flying. I then cracked up but the motorcycle was flying higher and higher until we couldn't see the Motorcycle.Then the Motorcycle's gas tank blew up and since it was so high it looked like A firework, It was the beautifulest thing I have ever seen.

Then it began , I hurriedly walked through the small hallway which opened up into a open air arena where my objective, the medal of Ägir, stood on a podium guarded by a dragon . I mercilessly charged at the dragon I screeched at me and turned around to tail whip me I dodged I jumped onto the dragon and clung tight It was shaking ferociously. I jumped at the medal of Ägir and closed my eyes I them opened when I had landed, To see that the medal of Ägir was in my hand. I had accomplished my task.

In Soviet controlled Poland lived Yuri Ushakov, He had a strong Russian accent so where became vere and well became vell, like how vampires spoke, But the Russian’s weren’t vampires ,well, that we know of, Anyway. He wanted to go to the hills and dig some frozen mammoth and have it for dinner. He drove his ute to the nearest hill. Suddenly a Polar bear came outta nowhere and spoke some polar bear and flipped the ute upside down and threw it down the hill and ran away, Ushakov, frustrated, changed into a bat and sucked the polar bear’s blood.

I was frightened, alone, well with Buddy, my dog in the Peruvian Amazonia, or the Amazon Rainforest. I knew I was going to never be found. I went back to the home in the cliffside, I lied on the large rectangular rock and fell to sleep I was In a hall and A Elephant in a tuxedo stood up and bowed ,then the Elephant delivered a speech about how animals were going to take over the world I then woke up in cold sweat and looked at Buddy to make sure he was okay and went back to deep sleep.

I backed away and started running, Back to the safety of the “Home in the cliff side” (as I called it) I Searched for a place to put the berry's I could save.  I began to search again for food. Halfway through I tripped over a twig that was sticking out the ground, It looked like My Viola but a lot more Ancient and rotten. I then encountered another thing sticking out the ground I heaved it out , It was a gold dagger used by the Incas, I then realised where I was Lost, in the deep, deadly, Amazon Rain forest.

Here is a sequel to my first WC 100 

I knelt in front of the river, cupped my hands, And shoved water into my mouth. Buddy then walked away. 

I followed him until we came to a cliff. Buddy immediately started sniffing around a small hole in the cliff face big enough for me to fit in. I crawled through into a wide space. I thought that this cave could be our new home. 

It was near water which meant plants flourished there. My stomach started to rumble and I decided to look for food. I found a berry plant inside a bear, asleep ,I knew I should run…

After the safari in Africa with my dog,Buddy. I was jumping off my seat while looking at the photos I took . My Mother booked a private flight for Me, she was always nice to me. Then the plane went into a full-on nose dive. The pilot started shouting I couldn’t hear him over the propeller. I clutched Buddy and shut my eyes Then SLAM!.

I woke up with Buddy licking me , I ran from the Burning plane I kept running. Me and Buddy stopped to catch our breath in front of a river, My days of survival just begun.

I followed the instructions of Of this youtube video and made the spinning disc.
It worked- sort of, I sharpened the pencil too much and the lead kept breaking.
So it was a sort of win-win situation

The Legend of the Immortal Ice cream in the mountain of Matterhorn!

Back in the days of old there was a Urban legend of Ice cream that made whoever ate it immortal. Located in the Middle of the Mountain of Matterhorn in Switzerland. One day in America a rich man named Snobby McSnobbypants who was big and round as well as having the traditional McSnobbypants tiny mustache heard of the legend and wanted that immortality so he selected 3 of his best men 1 of them , Luca was from Switzerland himself he was known mostly for being a great skier, He had heard of the legends and had always his life's dream was to know If the Ice cream was really real or not.

 After a long airplane ride they arrived in Zurich and brought hiking gear, Luca knew what they needed and brought some extra things one of the other two selected for the job scoffed and said "Ze boss will give us what we need and you aren't ze boss!"the other laughed, Luca was annoyed but carried on buying the extra things.

 After 5 hrs of snoring, laughing, and conversations later they had arrived at the foot of Matterhorn. Clusters of buildings and a small cafe sat at the base of the mountain. Luca was excited the other two were nervous, one of them squeaked "I need to go to ze bathroom" and the other one piped "Ya ya ya me too" Lucas looked confused but nodded in acceptance, Then the pair bolted straight to the car and drove off laughing about how stupid Luca was to fall for their trick. Luca was sad, angry, Because he just realized that Snobby McSnobbypants wanted him to die!. But since he was at the Matterhorn he decided to complete his dream and find the Ice-cream.

Before he started the trek he decided to visit the small cafe it was actually a small Ice Cream parlour a old man was standing behind the counter Luca walked up to the counter "Hello young man!" the old man said cheerfully he look old like 1000 years old, he had crumpled white hair, A small goatee, and eyes white like the snow he wore a dusty red t-shirt and light green shorts  he then said "I think you would like the old gold flavour ," ice cream flavour and while getting his ice cream the old man said "I don't get many customers in here," he paused then continued  "I made this ice cream shop because I thought the myth about the ice cream was popular but apparently not," Luca finally finished his ice cream and walked out.

He started climbing the snow was cold his hands felt numb after 2 hours of climbing we found a rock pointed out of the stone he sat on it trying to catch his breath he had climbed 101 metres (331 feet) then he heard a distant rumble and then a wall of snow smashed into him he blacked out. When he woke up he was in the old man's parlour but it was full of people they were crowding around Luca and muttering "look he's not dead, broken, or scratched how?" Luca was bewildered all of a sudden the crowd parted and the old man came through Luca asked him  "How am I alive?" the old man said "...

Why? Because she went to O.I.S when she was a child too and I want to see the differences between my Mothers time at O.I.S and my time at O.I.S.

Q.How big was the school when you were there?

A.It was 10 classrooms and about 260 to 290 students  (in 2020 there are 10 as well)

Q.What was your favourite memory from O.I.S? and Why?

A.Year 8 camp because it was really fun and it was a good mix of kids. We did lots of cool activities like Abseiling, Orienteering, Bushwalks, Nighttime Obstacle course . Being in the bunk rooms with my friends were fun.

Q.Was Technology the same four as they are now?  (Hard mats, Digi, Food and Textiles, Art) what was your favourite

A. We didn't have Digi Tech and Hard Materials was split between woodwork and metalwork. My favourites were Woodwork and Art

Q.What have you noticed visiting the School this year that was different to when you were there?

A.The Hub and Learning Center were resource sheds, The Hall set up completely different to how we had when I was at O.I.S , Also we had a big obstacle playground / course that has been removed.

Pros:

The Canteen serves delicious food
Lots of Sportgear if you forgot to bring your ball / Accessories
Really nice teachers
Good field for playing games on
Great Sporting variety

Cons:

Far away from my home
The school uniform is a bit strict (for my liking)
Weird rules about coming into school
Sometime teachers dismiss bullying 

Special events at my school

SPECIAL EVENTS AT MY SCHOOL
Today I will be telling you about five of our special events.
Triathlon team event- OIS is probably one of the only schools in Otago To have a Triathlon Team Event. It's when you and 2 others pick an event (swim, bike, run) and you do your event and your other two friends do the other events. It's a lot easier than the classic Triathlon but you don't get a reward like the people who do the classic Triathlon

Camp fundraising- At OIS we have a Year 8 (grade 7) camp and we have fundraisers for it. We either have a Garage sale, Make Cheese rolls, Make and sell Cakes, Take something to sell at a Mini Gala. If you really want to make sure that you have enough money to go to camp you can do all the options.

Cross Country- At my school we have a semi-big field that is big enough to run a full- fledged 1 kilometre (1036 yards) run. Everyone has to compete in Cross Country ( unless you're on holiday). If you come first in our Cross Country you go to the North Otago Cross Country and if you beat that you go to the Otago Cross Country.

James Hargest- At my school we have a sporting rivalry with James Hargest college in Invercargill where each year they come up to us in Oamaru or we go down to Invercargill and play sports with them. We play most sports Soccer, Basketball, Cricket, Netball and many other sports.

Year 8 camp- I may have hinted at this one earlier but this had to be on this list because It's the best part of OIS (apparently). You get to choose what Camp you go on for a whole week!. The options are Kiwi Explorer a camp for adventurous people who like Soccer and biking, Wainui a laid back camp for people that just want to relax, Boyle River a mix between Kiwi and Wainui relaxation on the first day and adventuring on day two, Last but not least Mt Somers it's basically Kiwi explorer but more hiking no biking and lots of scenic views. If you had went to my school which camp would you go on?.

My School's Grounds.

My school is one of the biggest in my town and that means it should have big Fields right? right?
Well no, Compared to others schools my schools grounds are actually quite small. They are mostly made of dirt and more dirt our courts are made of concrete with steel basketball hoops spurting out of the courts. The library, classrooms, and office have been built around the court.

I have made a ANZAC recruitment Poster for ANZAC day as well as ANZAC flowers to commemorate the ANZACs  bravery at Gallipoli in 1915.

Science Experiment

I did the 'floating egg' Experiment (https://www.sciencekids.co.nz/experiments/floatingeggs.html) The experiment didn't work the way it was supposed too. Instead of the floating in the middle It floats on the top and then it went to the bottom.

How World War 1 began

Hello if you are reading this post then you are  keen in world war one history but today I am talking about some of the things that started the First World War. Enjoy!

1906: The first event started 8 years before the the actual start of the First World War! It was the launch of the HMS Dreadnought a new naval ship which made every other ship in the world obsolete. Germany's Kaiser Wilhelm II wanted to equal the new ship and make more starting a naval race. They were eager to face off and see whos navy was stronger.

1908: Austria- Hungary took some land from the Ottoman Empire and made a new country Bosnia and Herzegovina which angered the empire of Serbia forming a hate between the two countries , this spiraled into 2 mini-wars the first Balkans war and the second Balkans war which shrunk the Ottoman Empire. 


28 June 1914,: Archduke Franz Ferdinand the heir to the Austria- Hungary throne and his wife Sophie visited the Bosnian and Herzegovinian capital of Sarajevo they drove to the capital.

10:28 am:  A group of six assassins with weapons from the Serbian gang Black hand planned to kill him the first assassin threw a grenade at the car and hit the car behind Franz.

10:40 am - 10:45 am: The Couple wanted to see the people that the grenade actually hit in hospital but the driver took a wrong turn and stopped to reverse Gavrilo Princip (the last assassin) ran in front of  the car and shot the Archduke and his wife with a pistol he was treated as a criminal in Bosnia and Herzegovina but in Serbia he was a hero.

28 July 1914: Austria- Hungary and Germany declared war on Serbia, See that Germany declared war Britain declared war as well as France and Russia.

There you have it a quick History of the lead-up to World War One!.

Droughts and Floods: Earth day

Today I will be talking about two of the twelve natural disasters, Droughts and floods.

Droughts:

A Drought is when there is unusually long dry weather. There is lots of dust storms and not enough water to survive, people don't have enough water to nourish their crops and give water to their cattle so sadly people die of lack of food and dehydration. Droughts are getting a lot worse because of climate change and the world is getting warmer which is meaning more Droughts. When Droughts happen the ground becomes hard and when there's finally rainfall the ground is so hard that the water can't seep through to get to the soil and the water stays on top and floods.

Floods:

Floods happen when there is too much water and it overflows onto land. Floods have been a threat since humanity started. The water drowns the crops and drowns cattle ending in starvation. The worst Floods happened in China in 1931 and killed 2,500,000 people to 4,000,000 people. Floods have become more common because of the Arctic ice caps melting which is making the ocean levels rise onto islands.

Star Jumps

This week I did the P.E for my weekly task. In one minute I did 82 star jumps!. So technically I did 20 star jumps in 15 seconds and can do 820 in ten minutes and 4920 in an hour!

                                          how to make a Double Exposure photo

firstly what is a double exposure photo?

a double exposure photo is where you get two photos and add them together to make one photo. 

1.choose two images a transparent silhouette and a background image on Pexels,Clipart, or Pixabay

2.download the images.

3.Go onto Pixlr and on the top bar choose Pixlr X.

4.Press "open image" and go "create new".

5. download your background.

6.Go to the image bar on the right and hit plus Button and go image layer and download your silhouette image.

7.Go to the image bar again (on the right) and click the boxes in the bottom right corner of the images If  you have followed these instructions your photo should look like this. 

8.on your silhouette image on the image bar click the button with the three dots 

9.go to the blend mode drop down.

10.go to the bottom of the dropdown and click on the mask blend.

11.go to the bottom bar and press save.

Ta-da! you have made a double exposure photo.

I like Football (soccer) a lot (maybe because I am half English) and I also play the Guitar in my spare time. I also play cricket as one of my main sports. My favourite subject is P.E because you get to play a lot of fun games I also like to read books I am currently reading some of my Dad's famous five books.

My Triathlon

‘All Individuals please walk with Mrs Taylor to the pool,’  boomed Mr Martin and I got up and walked. I saw some familiar faces as I walked by, Then in a matter of minutes we were at the pool. 

l took my t-shirt off and hopped in the pool then we heard “on your marks get set… GO!”

We all flew off the wall and started swimming. I had to swim 150 metres (162 yards) but it felt like a never-ending swim. A while after my never-ending swim I got told I was done. My heart lifted as I ran out of the pool and hopped on my bike and started biking.

The first few laps were fine then I got super tired on the end laps My legs felt Ice cream about to melt because I kept it in a low gear which made it harder. Luckily I got through, Then there was running which was the worst there was a headwind which kept pushing me back It was so monotonous also my left leg felt so bad the worst it’s ever been. I got there in the end though, I came 10th which was good enough for me.

I was super proud that I did it by myself instead of doing it in a team! My Parents were also proud of me because a week earlier I hurt my wrist badly but I still persisted and participated!

Three things I am excited about that are coming in March!
